Okay okay, I know I said Tuesday, but I've got some free time right now and I don't want to forget somethings.
So a couple of days ago I went up to the school, intresting things about japanese school:
1. You need about 4 different pair of shoes for school! (and a uniform)
2. You have 15 minutes of clean up time after lunch.
3. I have 18 other students in my class...
4. 15 of these students are girls!
5. When changing for P.E., there isn't a locker room. The class changes in the class room.
So yea, just some things that I thought were kinda cool lol :D
On to yesterday. At about noon I got to go hang out with a new person! Yay!! His name is ケイキ (Keiki) and he is just a couple of months younger than me. We went to the mall and just kind of hung out. After the mall we went to his house so he could own me at freakin Wii Fit. But whatever! Nothing super exciting but he did have Heart Gold in japanese and I have Soul Silver in english! Anywayys, after that I hung out with ユナ (Yuna) for a bit. She is exactly one year younger than me :) we were both born September 8th! So, I was hanging out with her and offered her some cinnamon gum (japan does not have cinnamon ANYTHING), when I gave her the gum she sniffed it and was like, "OHHHH!!! Shinimon!!" Hahaha XD and I told her it was からい (karai) which means spicy. So she ate it and this is about how it went, YUNA, "Mmmm!!" ME, "Daijoubu?(is it okay)" YUNA, "Daijoubu. Ahhh!! Karai karai. Karai!!" ME *Laughing* YUNA, "Itai!! Itai itai!! (It hurts!)" Hahaha it was hilarious XD I don't think I'll ever forget itai because she said it about 50 times lol XD
Well I just had some free time before going to the bank, but I'm about to leave now soo.... untill next time!
Lates!

Okay, so this really won't be to long, I7m about to go to my high school to be fitted for the uniform. So I walked around A LOT yesterday and dragged Saori with me :P we walked about 7-8 km and made it home around 10 at night, then I had her stay up with me to watch Signs with Mel Gibson and japanese subtitles! Whoo! Oh and I guess everyone goes on diets when they hit like 30 because she doesn't eat very much, so I bought her lots of her favorite candy! Haha it's really fun here :D Oh I also found out that it is a bad idea to take a bath in the morning. The other night the temperature got down to 4 celsius in my room and during the day it gets up to about 10-12 celsius! So I skipped the shower one night to take one in the morning, first off, you can't sit in the nice hot bath water because there is none because you are the only person bathing! Everyone else bathes at night. Secondly, it was 6 celsius in the bathroom! I walked in and saw my breath and knew I had made a mistake... But I learned my lesson :)
Soooo pictures, I only took a few but I will post them up, better yet I will put them on my facebook... Unless I can find an album feature... Let me figure this out!

So I am in Japan :D people probably want pictures.. well I'll put some up later :P ERR! This keyboard is kinda difficult so this won't be a long post. So Japan... People don't smell different here, people don't hate Americans, and hardly anybody speaks english. (I have met like 20 people where I live and only 1 speaks english and another can understand slow english) Sooo, that proves that a lot of what people told me is kinda incorrect. Of course maybe those people lived in Tokyo, AKA suedo-Japan. :P I'm in the real deal, everything is pacted together, lots of houses, cherry blossoms, and Mount Fuji right outside my window! The first couple of days the food was difficult to eat and now I'm eating foods I wouldn't even eat back home! Everyone is so nice and yes you have to change your slippers all the time. I did a couple of public baths which are amazing! The top five phrases I use in japanese are:
#1 ありがとう (Arigatou) - Thank you
#2 どういったしまして (Douittashimashite) - Your welcome
#3 だいじょうぶ (Daijoubu) - It's okay/ I'm okay/ Are you okay?
#4 おいしい! (Oishii!) - It's delicious!
#5 ごめんあさい (Gomennasai) - I'm sorry
BONUS さむい! (Samui!) - It's cold!
So when ever any of these are used by others, I feel so very proud of the fact that I have a slight idea of what's going on. I met this man and when I stood up to greet him he said おおきい! (Ookii!) which means, BIG! HAHA I felt proud then too :D
Well, I have been typing this for a while and I feel like I've been on to long so I must leave now! Next post will have pictures!
Ciao!

'Bout tuh leave!
Well Sunday is my last full day here in Corpus Christi and Monday is my last full day in the U.S. I am starting to feel quite a bit more nervous than I did before, but I am super excited about being in Japan! :D
I've been eating tons of Taco Bell these past couple days because I won't have it for a year! Oh, and apparently I am going to smell to people in Japan because of all the beef that we eat in America. I'm excited about that. I'm really curious as to how things will happen at orientation, with my family, with my school, ect.
Just thought I should post this, I hadn't put anything for a while. I plan on posting more while I'm actually in Japan though. OH! I got a camera so PICTURES! :D
For everyone who wants to see pictures, know about my trip, or talk, follow my blog!
Peace out!

So, sweet stuff has happened!
Wow, I just noticed how much I put off updating this blog but there'll be way more to post once I'm actually in Japan. :P
Well first off, I got my invoice at the begining of December and it said I had to pay $1,500 in a month! BUTTTTT!!!! That is the same time that I have to make the full payment anyway, so I was already prepared for a big payment. :) As you know by the date of this post, it is already the end of December, so.... My family and I are paying off the full tuition tomorrow!! :D
I have been working a lot so far but finally got my first 2 weeks off from my job and right before that I got the biggest paycheck I have earned so far. :) Sadly, I will be returning to work on Saturday but I only have to work there for a little while longer!
So Ryan Esteves said he didn't care if I mentioned him in my blog (but I know he does) and he has been helping out with the side work I have been doing A.K.A. mowing lawns. One of the lawns he helped with actually paid me $200!!! So thanks Ryan... Thanks a lot!!! >:(
My family in west Texas has also helped out A LOT! They have been doing so much and now that we are paying the tuition, they have really made the payment easier on us. :D They're the best! Thank you guys!!! :D
Also my family has helped so much, even my siblings Brooke and Tate! Now that we have put in everthing we have raised, my mom and dad will pay the rest and so I would like to thank them! :D I wouldn't have been able to do ANY of this without y'all! And thank you to Brooke and Tate! :)
Well, I have found out my flight times, when I need to be in L.A. for pre-departure orientation and when I will be in Tokyo for a several-day long orientation preparing everyone for a year in Japan! :D All I need to find out now is who my host family will be and I plan on finding that out sometime in January!
I will definitely have a new post when that happens, so expect one soon!
